Invermere, B.C. — June 2025. Copper Point Golf Club celebrated its biggest International Women’s Golf Day yet, welcoming a sold-out field of 144 players for a day of golf, fun, and celebration on and off the course.
The event featured a golf clinic, shotgun round, and buffet dinner, with players braving some unpredictable weather to enjoy the festivities. Despite Mother Nature’s challenges, the women shared laughs, stories, and chocolate-covered strawberries — all in honour of growing the game for women and girls. “The ladies still had an awesome day making memories and celebrating women in golf,” the club noted in a post-event recap.
The day was made even more special thanks to support from sponsors. Daniela Pacheco and Levelwear provided tee gifts for all participants, while an impressive lineup of prize sponsors contributed to a packed draw.
