The Zone Three Women have partnered with British Columbia Golf to host a new website. Aside from the cost-savings and access to the Association’s expertise, it also allows the Executive to easily send out newsletters to all Zone members on an ongoing basis.
In a nutshell, the Zone’s job is to provide all information, content and image(s) following a well defined approach; it is BC Golf’s job to post it. Content can be both news oriented or information oriented.
The site will be located on britishcolumbiagolf.org as a subdomain site with its own home page. Sections on the site include the latest news, teams’ info, tournament listings, member clubs and links to relevant associated sites (e.g. The Zone 3/4 Juniors’ site).
There are other synergies, as well. For example, this will allow integration with Golf Genius for posting scoring. This feature is set to happen a little later in the season.
The website will still have the same URL http://www.bcgazone3.org/women/ and is set to go live by the end of April with the first newsletter to distribute in early May.
